This tournament, organized under the auspices of World Boxing, will be held from March 28 to April 11, 2026.
The team, led by head coach Daniyar Tologon uulu, will consist of eight athletes.
Preparation for the championship took place in China, where Kyrgyz boxers held training camps.
At the previous IBA Asian Boxing Championship in 2024, the Kyrgyzstan team managed to win two bronze medals.
The medalists were Ryspek Bektenov (in the weight category up to 60 kg) and Mirzakhid Imam Nazarov (up to 63.5 kg).
