The 25-year-old athlete took second place at the national championship held in Osh at the end of January this year.
Representing the SDYUSHOR "Olymp" from Bishkek, Bekauri reached the final but lost to Daut Poltushev, earning a silver medal.
Additionally, he has been included in the Kyrgyzstan national team for the Grand Slam tournament, which will take place from March 20 to 22 in Tbilisi (Georgia).
As part of the Georgian national team, Bekauri won the European Cup for cadets twice in 2017, and in 2019 he won the European Cup in the U-21 category.
He also has a silver medal from the European Championship for cadets (2017) and a bronze from the European Youth Championship (2019).
In 2020, Bekauri placed 5th at the European Youth Championship in Croatia, after which he did not compete in any events.
