Urmati Asanbaev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, reported that there are federations for both Olympic and non-Olympic sports in the country. "Each federation has its priority sport, for which funds are allocated and experiments are conducted. Funding is distributed equally among all federations; however, some of them seek support without having specific results," he noted, adding that it is necessary to monitor such requests.
Sovetbek Rustambek uulu also drew attention to the volleyball federation, which is active and has dedicated fans, as well as showing results. The director added that information about the federations is available and oversight of their activities is carried out.
Additionally, the deputy highlighted the achievements of the women's national team of Kyrgyzstan, which demonstrates good results on the international stage.
