Kyrgyzstan's Islam Narynbekov won gold at the World Championship in kettlebell lifting in San Francisco
Narynbekov placed first in the weight category over 95 kg in the two-event competition with 32 kg kettlebells.
In addition to participating in the competition, Islam received an invitation to the tournament's judging panel as an international referee.
His sports career includes achievements such as winning the 2024 World Championship in Cholpon-Ata, being crowned the champion of the USA, triumphing at the 2025 Pan American Games, earning a silver medal at the 2023 Asian Championship, as well as four consecutive golds at the national championship.
