On February 8, member of the Kyrgyzstan national athletics team Nursultan Keneshbekov took second place in the final of the 1500 meters at the Asian Indoor Championships held in China.

With a time of 3 minutes 44.75 seconds, he not only won a medal but also set a new national record for this distance, which previously belonged to him as well.

Thus, this achievement became the sixth record for Nursultan in the history of Kyrgyz athletics.
