The II International Tournament in Army Hand-to-Hand Combat has concluded in Bishkek, as reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports. The event took place on February 19–20 at the Kaba Uulu Kozhomkul Sports Palace and was dedicated to the memory of the Hero of the Soviet Union, Lieutenant General Kalynur Usenbekov.
More than 300 athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Russia participated in the tournament.
The results of the team standings in the tournament are as follows:
1st place was taken by the special unit "Scorpion" of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic;
2nd place went to the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;
3rd place was secured by the Military Institute of the Armed Forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic.
