The sambo competitions took place on February 18 in Bishkek, at the Koyomkul Sports Palace, where the champions of Kyrgyzstan for 2026 were determined.

According to the press service of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, 360 participants from various regions of the country competed for the awards.

Within the framework of the combat sambo competitions among men, 7 sets of medals were contested.

Results in combat sambo among men

Weight category up to 58 kg

First place was taken by Daniel Asekov (SDYUSHOR SE, Bishkek).

The second place on the podium was occupied by Zharkynbek Kilychbekov (Manas).

The bronze medals were shared by Nursultan Kumar uulu (Osh) and Nursultan Toktorbaev (KGAFKIS, Bishkek).

Weight category up to 64 kg

First place went to Kalysu Koychumankulov (SK "Bars", Bishkek).

Second place was taken by Kutman Usupkojoev (Kyzyl-Kiya).

Bronze medals were awarded to Adil Turatov (SK "Bodrost", Bishkek) and Murzabek Usun uulu (Kyzyl-Kiya).

Weight category up to 71 kg

The gold medal went to Kuttubek Toloshev (SK "Bars", Bishkek).

In second place was Sherzat Kudayberdiev (Manas).

Third place was taken by Zholdoshbek Balbaev (OSO, Karakol) and Ermek Nurbekov (Ton, Issyk-Kul).

Weight category up to 79 kg

The champion was Kurmanbek Zamir uulu (Manas).

Silver went to Nurzhigit Rayimbekov (Osh).

Bronze awards went to Aydar Mamativinov (SK "Alykulov", Bishkek) and Marlen Zhenish uulu (Batken).

Weight category up to 88 kg

The gold medal went to Bekten Erkebai uulu (Osh).

In second place was Yryskeldi Abdrashit uulu (PSN, Osh).

Third place was taken by Baymyrza Abdybaev (Osh) and Aktan Boombekov (MIA).

Weight category up to 98 kg

First place went to Timurlan Toktobolotov (Osh).

Second place was taken by Bekbolsun Kerimbekov (Manas).

The bronze medals were shared by Dastan Beyshenaly uulu (Osh) and Beknazar Zheymyrzaev (Manas).

Weight category over 98 kg

The champion was Alymbek Adil uulu (Osh).

In second place was Kansultan Saparbai (Osh).

Bronze medals went to Kalil Osmonov (SK "Ilbirs", Bishkek) and Syimyk Kochkonbaev (MIA).
