From February 25 to March 1, the international Muhamet Malo tournament will take place in the Albanian city of Tirana, where Kyrgyz wrestler Akjol Makhmudov will participate in Greco-Roman style.
The athlete will compete in the weight category up to 82 kg and will represent the national team of Kyrgyzstan.
Recently, on February 13, Makhmudov won against Bulgarian wrestler Aik Mnatsakanyan with a score of 5:2 at the SUPER 4 WRESTLING tournament.
This tournament will be Makhmudov's second official competition after his successful performance at the 2024 Summer Olympics, where he won a bronze medal. Additionally, in November 2025, he became the gold medalist at the 2025 Islamic Games.
