Today, February 16, the championship of the Kyrgyz Republic in sports and combat sambo has started at the sports complex named after Kaba Uulu Kozhomkul, as reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports. On the first day of the competition, athletes will compete in weight categories of 58, 71, 88, and 98 kg. The tournament will last for two days, concluding on February 17. The opening of the championship was attended by the Deputy Director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Buzurman Bagyshbekov, as well as athletes and other officials.
