Timur Shakirov took 62nd place at the Winter Olympics
On February 14, as part of the alpine skiing competition, the giant slalom took place, featuring 81 athletes.
In his first run, Shakirov recorded a time of 1 minute 29.52 seconds, which placed him in 67th position, 15.6 seconds behind the leader.
In the second run, the Kyrgyz athlete improved his result, finishing in 1 minute 22.5 seconds and moving up to 63rd place, with a gap of 11.42 seconds from the first place.
Based on the results of the two runs, Shakirov ranked 62nd among the 69 alpine skiers who completed the race.
