Winter Olympics. Kyrgyz skier Artur Saparbekov took 94th place

At the Winter Olympic Games in Italy, Kyrgyz skier Artur Saparbekov made his debut in the competitions.

As reported by the official Olympic website, the cross-country skiing sprint event began on February 10, gathering 94 participants.

Saparbekov started with number 91 and completed the first 800 meters in 2 minutes and 23.8 seconds, finishing the race with a total time of 4 minutes and 36.85 seconds, which earned him 94th place in the final standings.

Out of 94 participants, the top 30 athletes were able to advance to the quarterfinals, with Norwegian Johannes Høsflot Klæbo taking first place in the qualification.

Artur Saparbekov also plans to compete on February 13 in the 10-kilometer freestyle race.
