Kyrgyzstani athletes became bronze medalists at the Asian Shooting Championship
In Bishkek, it was reported that Kyrgyz shooters won two bronze medals at the Asian Shooting Championship taking place in New Delhi. The information was provided by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan.
Abdurazzak Muratov and Zhibek Bektasheva became bronze medalists in the VP-6 discipline (air rifle, mixed teams), demonstrating a high level of accuracy and teamwork. As a result of the competition, they took third place.
Additionally, in the team event among girls in the Air Rifle discipline (air rifle), our athletes, including Albina Tuleberdieva, Datkaim Sadykova, and Zhibek Bektasheva, also won bronze medals, securing the third position in the final standings.
At the Asian Championship, which runs from February 2 to 14, Kyrgyzstan is represented by a team of 16 athletes and three coaches. The tournament features 385 participants from 19 countries.
