
At the 2026 Games, the country will be represented by two skiers:
- Timur Shakirov, specializing in alpine skiing;
- Arthur Saparbekov, a participant in cross-country skiing.
Additionally, the delegation will include Kazybek Moldazhiyev, head of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, as well as Umbetaly Kydyraliev, who is the head of the National Olympic Committee of Kyrgyzstan and a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh.
The mission chief and secretary general of the NOC KR, Kylch Sarbagishev, along with his deputy Marat Askarbekov, will also accompany the team to provide necessary support.
According to the NOC KR, the competitions will take place in two Italian cities, and accordingly, the Olympic villages will also be located in different places. The athletes from Kyrgyzstan will be accommodated in two villages to be closer to the sports facilities.
"There is a 12-hour journey between these Olympic villages, and our athletes will be housed near the locations where their competitions will take place," the committee clarified.It is also worth noting that the accreditation of members of national Olympic committees, as well as the coverage of their expenses, is carried out at the expense of the International Olympic Committee, while other representatives of the delegation, including sports officials, are funded by their respective countries.
