In the Ak-Suysky District, the number of people wanting to take up cross-country skiing has increased
In his opinion, cross-country skiing is a safer and healthier option compared to alpine skiing.
Asakeev also shared his thoughts on the differences between these types of skiing and who shows interest in cross-country skiing:
“Although alpine skiing brings adrenaline, it comes with certain risks. Cross-country skiing is designed for skiing on flat areas and is accessible for those from the age of 6. In our group, 15 people train regularly, but there are also many who come just out of curiosity. Soon, we plan to organize national competitions to inspire skiers and provide them with an opportunity to exchange experiences,” noted A. Asakeev.
