Alcaraz - the youngest holder of a career 'Grand Slam'

In the final, which took place on the "Rod Laver" court, Alcaraz triumphed in four sets, despite the fact that the first set ended in favor of Djokovic. This victory secured the title of the youngest player to achieve a career "Grand Slam," meaning titles at all four Grand Slam tournaments, at the age of 22 years and 272 days.

Alcaraz surpassed legends such as Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic, who reached this milestone much later. Additionally, he broke the record set by Don Budge back in 1938.

The trophy won in Melbourne was Alcaraz's first at the Australian Open and added to his existing titles at Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and the US Open. He is now the only tennis player to have won seven Grand Slam titles before turning 23 years old.

Regarding the possibility of winning the calendar "Grand Slam," Alcaraz noted that he does not want to rush and will focus on the upcoming French Open, where he has already been a champion twice.

After the match, Djokovic highly praised Alcaraz's achievements, emphasizing his physical and psychological maturity, as well as his constant drive for improvement. The Serbian added that the career "Grand Slam" confirms Carlos's status as one of the great tennis players in history.
