Twenty athletes from the Jaiyl district participated in the competition, training under the guidance of coach Syrgak Zhaparkulov at secondary school No. 12 in the city of Kara-Balta named after Jaiyl Baatyr.
The athletes showed the following results:
First place in the weight category of 72 kg was taken by Mukhamadzier Khasolov;
First place in the weight category of 64 kg was won by Temirlan Altymyshev;
Second place in the weight category of 55 kg was taken by Nazarbek Rysaliev;
Third place in the same category (55 kg) was taken by Zayir Adiletov;
In the category up to 34 kg, third place was taken by Nurkhan Kyzyrov;
First place in the weight of 37 kg was taken by Zakir Butobaev.
All winners and prizewinners received diplomas and commemorative medals, while the champions in their weight categories were awarded special championship belts.
