Umar Egemberdiyev — the best player of the Youth Hockey World Championship
The competition among teams in the third division (Group B) took place in Bishkek from January 18 to 24 and gathered six national teams.
The Kyrgyzstan team won all five matches, finishing first in the tournament.
The 15-year-old forward from the "Neftyanik" club in Almetyevsk (Russia) made 31 shots on the opponents' goal over five games, of which 10 were successful.
Additionally, Umar made 7 assists.
As a result, he scored 17 points and was named the tournament MVP.
