In their first match, the team, led by Nurzhan Jetibaev, suffered a defeat against the Iraq national team with a score of 2:4.
In another match of this group, the tournament hosts, the Indonesia national team, secured a confident victory over the Korea team, defeating them 5:0.
The next round of matches will take place on January 29, where the Kyrgyz team will face the tournament hosts — Indonesia.
Based on the results of the group stage, the top two teams will be able to continue their fight in the playoffs.
