According to the head of the village of Ak-Tal, Dastan Imankebekov, the volleyball tournament between the neighborhoods of the village was organized by young men born in 1990. The competitions were held in three categories:
men under 40;
men over 40;
girls and women.
The prize fund of the tournament amounted to 50,000 soms, and trophies, medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, and other awards were prepared for the winners. Such competitions are not only held this year — they are organized annually at the initiative of representatives from different generations. The organization of the next tournament has been handed over to the young men born in 1991.
The main goal of the competitions is to strengthen unity among the residents, promote sports in the village, engage youth and the population in sports games, and prevent negative behavior through involvement in sports.
Winners among men under 40:
1st place — Airport neighborhood;
2nd place — Ala-Tuu neighborhood;
3rd place — Kampa neighborhood.
Winners among men over 40:
1st place — Lower neighborhood;
2nd place — team of young men born in 1986;
3rd place — team of young men born in 1974.
Among women:
1st place — team of the secondary school named after Askar Turdakunov;
2nd place — Lower Village neighborhood;
3rd place — team of the kindergarten named after Rakhata Alybaeva.
The winners were awarded trophies, medals, certificates, and cash prizes by the organizers.
