The youth national team of Kyrgyzstan in hockey won the World Championship (U-20) in Division 3B

From January 18 to 24, Bishkek hosted the World Championship, which featured six national teams. The Kyrgyzstan team won all five games, defeating opponents from Hong Kong (4:1), South Africa (7:2), Iran (15:1), Luxembourg (5:3), and Mexico (7:4).

As a result of their successful performances, the Kyrgyzstan team earned the maximum of 15 points and took first place in the overall standings, becoming the world champion in division 3B.

This victory allowed the team to qualify for the next season in group A of the third division of the World Championship.
