About 100 young wrestlers representing various districts of the Chui region participated in this competition. The main goal of the tournament was to identify the best athletes in the region and to form a team for participation in the national freestyle wrestling competitions.
According to the results of the tournament, athletes from the Jayil district took the following prize places:
Apsalbekov Sylyk (51 kg) - 3rd place, village of Kosh-Döbö;
Tölönov Tilek (55 kg) - 3rd place, village of Ak-Bashat;
Osmonkulov Nurel (60 kg) - 3rd place, city of Kara-Balta;
Shavketov Sultanalı (65 kg) - 1st place, village of Novonikolaevka;
Borbuyev Aman (65 kg) - 3rd place, village of Kosh-Döbö;
Kulaliev Ilgiz (80 kg) - 5th place, village of Sosnovka;
Kenjetaev Ariet (90 kg) - 3rd place, village of Ak-Bashat.
All winners and prizeholders were awarded medals and diplomas provided by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Chui region.
