The event took place at the district House of Culture named after Shaken Zhorobekova. It was attended by the district akim Ruslan Aitbaev, heads of institutions and organizations, the athlete's relatives, and young boxers.
The festive event was accompanied by a concert program, and in the second part, it continued at the district sports school, where a meeting with young athletes was held. During the meeting, I. Nishanov, along with his coach Kenjebek Musakunov, conducted a small master class for the young boxers and shared his experience.
Ikhtiyar Nishanov is a boxer of the national team of Kyrgyzstan. In 2025, at the World Boxing Championships (IBA World Boxing Championships) held in Dubai (UAE), he won a bronze medal. Nishanov competed in the weight category up to 71 kg and earned bronze for reaching the semifinals. In the semifinals, he lost to a boxer from Kazakhstan and took third place.
As a result, Nishanov became the second boxer from Kyrgyzstan to win a medal at the World Championship.
He was born on March 1, 2003, in the Ala-Buka district of the Jalal-Abad region.
