The incident involving Davis occurred in October 2025 at one of the clubs where his ex-girlfriend worked. According to the investigation, the athlete attacked her in a storage room that was not equipped with cameras. According to the victim's testimony, Davis grabbed her by the back of the head and forcefully dragged her outside, then beat her in the parking lot, leaving bruises on her left arm. She reported the incident to the police a few days later. It is worth noting that Davis and the woman had been in a relationship for several months.
Police representative Emmanuel Ginty stated that the law enforcement agencies in Miami Gardens are actively working with a U.S. Marshals task force to apprehend Davis.
This is not the first time the boxer has found himself in the spotlight of law enforcement — he has previously faced arrests on charges of domestic violence.
As of today, the 31-year-old Davis has fought 31 bouts, winning 30, with one ending in a draw. His last fight took place in March 2025 against Lamont Roach Jr. and also ended without a winner being determined.
