Kyrgyzstan Championship: Issyk-Kul's "Bars" Appoints New Coach from Barcelona

The team of Issyk-Kul "Bars" has announced the appointment of a new head coach for the upcoming season of the Premier League.

In 2026, the 32-year-old Francesc Bonet has been appointed as the coach, arriving from Barcelona (Spain).

A contract has been signed with the new coach, valid until the end of 2026, and he holds a UEFA Pro license.

Francesc Bonet has previously worked at various clubs, including Indian teams "Rajasthan United," "Gokulam," "Namdharis," and "Churchill Brothers," as well as the Guatemalan club "Santa Lucia" and the Mongolian club "Erchim."

Additionally, the fitness coach has become Giorgi Papuashvili from Georgia.

We remind you that last season "Bars" won the gold medals of the Premier League and may debut in the AFC Challenge Cup this year.
