Wrestlers from the Jayil District Took Prize Places in the International Tournament

From January 10 to 12, 2026, an international wrestling tournament for boys was held at the "Izabek" sports complex in Bishkek.

484 young wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, born in 2011-2012 and 2013-2016, participated in the tournament.

The Jayil district was represented by 10 athletes who achieved the following results:

• In the weight category up to 29 kg, Raatbek Nurubekov took 2nd place, from the village of Sary-Bulak, coach: Ruslan Atakeev;


• In the weight of 31 kg, Nurkeldi Alisherov took 1st place, from the village of Alekseevka, coach: Murat Kurmanaliev;


• In the weight of 31 kg, Kutman Duyshenkulov took 3rd place, from the village of Stavropolovka, coach: Zharkynbek Asylbek uulu;


• In the weight of 50 kg, Almaz Abdrashitov took 2nd place, from the village of Ak-Bashat, coach: Ruslan Atakeev.

The winners and prize-winners were awarded commemorative medals and diplomas from the tournament organizers - the Youth League of Wrestlers of the Kyrgyz Republic. In addition, the coaches of the champions in each weight category were awarded cash prizes.
