Shairbek Tashiev, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, has found himself at the center of an investigation related to corruption at the State Oil and Gas Company "Kyrgyzneftegaz." This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The agency reports that the investigation began based on data presented by the State Tax Service under the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as the results of an audit conducted.
Investigative actions carried out by the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed Tashiev's connection to corrupt schemes, which became the basis for his detention. Currently, the former deputy is in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek, and investigative activities are ongoing.
