The issue of transferring the building to the management of the presidential administration has been removed from the agenda.
At a meeting of the Bishkek City Council, the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, announced that the House of the Artist will remain the property of the city.
As the mayor noted, the initiative to transfer the building to the presidential administration received significant public response. In light of the proposals received, the city hall decided to exclude this issue from the agenda.
“The House will continue to operate,” added Junushaliev.
It was previously discussed that the House of the Artist could be transferred along with other facilities and land plots to the management of the presidential administration.
