At the XIII session of the Bishkek City Council, Mayor Aibek Junushaliev, considering the opinions of deputies and the public, proposed to exclude from the agenda the issue related to the land plot where the "House of Artists" is located.
According to the city hall, the mayor emphasized that the issue will be further worked on, and the land plot will remain the property of the municipality. At the same time, the "House of Artists" will continue its operations as usual until final decisions are made regarding its further use in accordance with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan.
It is worth noting that the Bishkek city hall has already initiated the cancellation of a previously adopted decision due to identified violations of the land use conditions at Chuy Avenue, 108, provided to the Union of Artists for the "House of Artists".
It was established that this facility was used for purposes other than intended: commercial enterprises such as a private notary's office, a car dealership, a store, an airline ticket office, and other office spaces were located in its premises.
