Kerimov noted that renewable energy sources are developing every year in the country. "According to the legislation on renewable energy sources, our state is obliged to buy electricity produced by small hydropower plants and solar power plants. The established tariff is 4 som 42 tyiyn. At the same time, amendments have been made to the law allowing for auctions. This will provide the opportunity to select companies offering the most favorable electricity tariffs," he added.

In response, the deputy minister explained that tariffs for different types of renewable energy sources vary due to different costs of electricity production.
