Residents of Bishkek are invited to the anniversary exhibition of artist Sabidjan Babajanov
The exhibition will open on April 10 at the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev.
"In honor of the 85th anniversary of Sabidjan Babajanov, a graphic artist known both in the country and beyond, we are pleased to present a large-scale exhibition reflecting his multifaceted creativity. The name of the master has become a symbol of deep philosophical reflections, artistic freedom, and spiritual quest. This exhibition is not just a retrospective, but a space for silence and contemplation, where the viewer can immerse themselves in a world of images, colors, and inner thought," noted the organizers.
Babajanov's artistic legacy encompasses a variety of genres and techniques. For him, graphics, watercolor, oil, and gouache are not just techniques, but different ways of expressing his creativity.
