In 2025, approximately 57,500 applicants participated in the National Testing.
Since 2012, participation in the National Testing has been mandatory for all those wishing to enroll in higher educational institutions in the country, regardless of their ownership form. The only exceptions are certain fields in cultural and artistic institutions, as well as in the area of physical culture and sports.
Starting in 2026, it is planned that admission to institutions of secondary vocational education based on basic or secondary general education will also be possible based on the results of the National Testing.
