The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced changes to the existing regulations concerning the stay of foreign citizens in the country. These innovations aim to more effectively regulate migration processes, simplify legalization procedures for foreigners, and create clear and flexible conditions for their entry and stay in Kyrgyzstan.
Among the key changes is the introduction of a special provision regarding the legal status of ethnic Kyrgyz and their families. Now, individuals who previously violated the stay rules and did not manage to obtain the necessary documents will be able to re-enter Kyrgyzstan with the right to legalize their status within 30 working days.
The Ministry also reminds both foreign citizens and host parties of the necessity to strictly adhere to the duration of stay in the country and to consider the new rules when planning their visit.
This resolution will come into effect ten days after its official publication.
