On March 24, the results of this competition were announced, which brought together about 20 media organizations, press services, and independent journalists from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia. A total of more than 40 works were submitted for the jury's consideration.
Abdyrazakova's work was recognized for her contribution to preserving the historical truth about the Great Patriotic War. In the same category, second place was awarded to Nuraiym Rysmambetova, a correspondent for "Sputnik Kyrgyzstan".
The "Media-Navruz" competition is organized annually by the scientific and educational center of Altaic studies and Turkology "Big Altai" at Altai State University. Its goal is to support journalistic materials dedicated to the history and culture of Turkic peoples, as well as to develop professional connections within the media community.
The organizers noted that this year the competition confirmed its international status, and the high quality of the submitted works made the selection of winners particularly challenging.
Among the winners of the competition were special correspondent of "Russian Gazette" Sergey Zyuzin and editor-host of "Sputnik Kyrgyzstan" Ayturgan Satieva.
The awards for Russian participants took place within the framework of the international scientific conference "Turkology in the Modern World: Trends and Development Brands". Prizes for the winners from Central Asia will be presented during the working trips of the center's experts.
All participants of the competition will receive diplomas and electronic certificates, and the best authors will have the opportunity to participate in scientific conferences and educational programs of the center, including the summer school for young Turkologists.
The organizers emphasized that this competition remains an important platform for uniting journalists and promoting the historical and cultural heritage of Turkic peoples.
