A Man Emotionally Spoke at a Meeting with the Leaders of Chui Region. Video
Turmush reported that this event was organized on the orders of President Sadyr Japarov, and it was attended by heads of state agencies and local self-government to promptly address the issues of residents in the eastern zone of the Chui region (Kemin, Chui, Issyk-Ata, and Alamudun districts).
According to the man, two of his animals were stolen. “My son managed to find one of them. We caught the thief, proved his guilt, but the police just let him go,” he said.
The head of the Chui region's Department of Internal Affairs, Kanybek Abdyrahmanov, responded to this complaint, instructing the head of the criminal investigation department to meet with the citizen and investigate the situation.
Additionally, one of the local residents asked several questions. “Can an 11-year-old child be a defendant in a civil case with living parents? Is this provided for by law? The second question concerns document forgery. Do we have the concept of ‘protection’ in the police? And where is the prosecutor's office? They do not accept citizens. When you come, they ask why you came and simply do not let you in,” the woman noted.
The head of the Chui region's Department of Internal Affairs scheduled a personal meeting for the woman next Monday at 4:00 PM to discuss all her questions confidentially.
