Residents of the Chui region are facing difficulties in obtaining title documents for their land plots. The situation was commented on by the district akim, Emilbek Abdykadyrov.

Turmush reported that on March 26, a meeting will be held in Tokmok between local authorities and residents of the eastern part of the Chui region (Kemin, Chui, Issyk-Ata, and Alamudun districts). This event is organized at the instruction of President Sadyr Japarov to quickly address the pressing issues faced by the residents.

As noted by the akim, work is currently underway to implement the presidential decree on land amnesty. In total, 1,900 applications for the legalization of plots have been submitted in the Chui district as part of this amnesty. At the moment, about 80 applications are under detailed review by a special commission.

The most challenging situation is observed in the rural districts of Burana, Ibraimov, and Kegeti, where more than 50 plots with residential houses have been identified, but the owners lack title documents and initial decisions on land allocation. “The main problem lies in the absence of a legal framework or archival decisions for the registration of these plots. We have already contacted the commission at the prosecutor's office. If the supervisory authority recognizes these areas as lands of populated places, then specialists from rural administrations on land issues will be able to continue the documentation process in accordance with the law,” explained Emilbek Abdykadyrov.
