As a result of traffic accidents, 284 people died due to the actions of drivers, and 46 due to pedestrians.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has called on drivers to be more cautious on the roads, especially near pedestrian crossings, educational institutions, and kindergartens.
According to statistics, last year there were 2,853 pedestrian accidents in the country, resulting in the deaths of 284 people and injuries to 2,829 citizens.
Additionally, the Ministry of Internal Affairs strongly recommends that pedestrians follow traffic rules, cross roads only at designated places, and remain vigilant. In 2025, 342 traffic accidents occurred due to the fault of pedestrians, resulting in 46 deaths and 311 injuries.
