In the Kara-Suu district, during a meeting with the heads of educational institutions, the head of the school education department of the Ministry of Education, Melisbek Muzulmanov, presented a phased plan for the transition to 12-year education.
Starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, education under the new 12-year programs will begin for grades 1, 2, 5, and 7.
Additionally, this academic year, grades 3 to 8 will join them, after which the transition to specialized education will be organized. Currently, work is underway on the concept of specialized education, and after its approval, the issue of implementation in schools will be addressed.
Muzulmanov also commented on the calendar-thematic plan, emphasizing that it is an individual approach to the distribution of the annual curriculum by teachers, incorporating elements of creativity. The recommended plan, developed by the Kyrgyz Academy of Education, can be adapted by educators at their discretion.
