According to this regulation, children born between January 1 and December 31, 2019, and between January 1 and December 31, 2020, will be admitted to the first grade for the 2026/27 academic year.
If a child is over 8 years old, or if there are no documents confirming their identity or the identity of the legal representative, enrollment will occur at the decision of the Commission for Child Affairs (CDA).
The process of enrolling in the first grade will be organized through the Digital Technological System "Electronic Enrollment" and will take place in two stages:
— the first stage will be open for children registered in the microdistrict of the corresponding school by one of the parents (or legal representatives);
— the second stage will begin for children without permanent registration, but only if there are available places in the chosen school.
The first stage of enrollment will start on April 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM, and the second stage will begin if there are available places on June 1, 2026, also at 10:00 AM.
Legal representatives can register their child in school through the "personal account" on the platform 1mektep.edu.gov.kg.
It is important to note that no tests, exams, or interviews will be conducted for admission to the first grade.
Key objectives of introducing the DTS "Electronic Enrollment":
— simplifying the process of registration and data accounting when enrolling children in the first grade;
— ensuring equal access to all opportunities for primary general education for every child.
The system processes personal data of children and applicants, including citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign citizens, using inter-agency electronic interaction "Tunduk" for verification.
Information about the child includes:
- personal identification number (PIN);
- last name, first name, and patronymic;
- gender;
- date of birth.
Data about the applicant includes:
- personal identification number (PIN);

- gender;
- date of birth;
- legal address (registration data of the applicant);
- contact numbers (mobile phone);
- email.
Protection of personal data in the DTS "Electronic Enrollment" is carried out in accordance with the Digital Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
