In the village of Novopokrovka, located in the Chui region, the opening of a new maternity hospital with 100 beds is expected. This facility will be organized in the building that previously housed the old hospital, following the completion of major repairs. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Health.
The Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Damir Osmonov, familiarized himself with the progress of the repair work during his working trip.
As reported by the health coordinator of the Chui region, Almaz Askarov, funding for the major repairs came from the stabilization fund. The work is planned to be completed by November of this year.
It is worth noting that currently, the Chui Regional Maternity Hospital is located in the building of a former kindergarten, which creates limitations for providing quality specialized medical care.
