Salaries of doctors in Kyrgyzstan will be increased by 100% - Ministry of Health
In a live broadcast on Birinchi Radio, the First Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan, Tilek Mamadaliev, announced that salaries for medical workers will be increased by 100%.
He noted that over the past five years, the government has been focusing on the development of healthcare.
“The salary increase is just one part of the efforts aimed at improving the health of our citizens. The issue of the shortage of medical personnel in the regions is largely related to financial aspects. Now, salaries will be increased by approximately 100%,” he added.
This change will help attract specialists to remote areas or send them from cities. Additionally, for the past two years, the government has been providing an additional amount of 20,000 soms for representatives of certain professions. It should also be noted that the deposit for doctors, which previously amounted to 33,000 soms and was paid once every three months, will now increase to 66,000 soms,” concluded Mamadaliev.
