Residents of Pushkin Street, located in the Panfilov District of Chui Region, witnessed the appearance of amazing drawings on the surface of the sümölök they prepared in honor of the Nowruz holiday.

This news was shared by the local residents themselves.

Pushkin Street is situated in the village of Voznesenovka, which is part of the rural district of Orto-Kaiyndy. In anticipation of the Nowruz holiday, they decorated the street with balloons totaling 10,500 soms over a length of more than 1 kilometer.
“For the Nowruz holiday, we prepared 13 kilograms of sprouted wheat, which we then passed through a meat grinder and rinsed thoroughly three times. After that, we added 25 kg of flour, 5 kg of vegetable oil, and 3 kg of sweets. We placed about 30 small stones at the bottom of the cauldron and cooked it for 12 hours,” shared Gulnara Saitova, one of the residents of the street.

Ibadaat Zholoeva, who also participated in the preparation, noted that the sümölök, which was cooked overnight, was unveiled on March 22.

She spoke about the unusual images that were noticed on the surface:

“When we opened the sümölök, we saw a map of Kyrgyzstan on its surface, with our sacred lake Issyk-Kul at its center. Around the map were inscriptions of 'Allah' and national ornaments. We took this as a good sign, feeling the unity of our people and pride in the sanctity of our lake and cultural values,” said Ibadaat.
