In the village of Voznesenovka, located in the Panfilov district of the Chui region, Pushkin Street has been decorated. The total length of the street is 1.2 kilometers.

This information was provided by 61-year-old resident of the village, a mother of many children, Gulnara Saitova.

Pushkin Street is situated in the Orto-Kayindin rural district.
“I have lived here for 22 years. I have four children and 11 grandchildren. On our street, which is over 1 kilometer long, there are 125 houses. Every year, starting from last year, my neighbors and I decide to decorate our homes and the street with balloons for the holiday of Nooruz. We also illuminate the street at night for safety. This year, we spent 10,500 soms on the decorations,” she shared.

According to her, such decorations not only create a festive atmosphere but also motivate residents to take care of cleanliness. This initiative is supported by the local rural administration. In addition, the village prepares sumolok, and the holiday is accompanied by various games and entertainment,” Gulnara added.

Nooruz is celebrated in every rural district of the region. The decoration prepared by the rural administration of Kurama stands out, especially in the square near the Osmonov State Memorial Complex, where yurts are set up among beautifully decorated fir trees, and festive events take place.
