In the center of Batken, a large celebration was held at the stadium in honor of Nowruz. This was reported by the president's representative in the region.
The festivities began with the traditional preparation of sumolok, in which both local leaders and representatives of the city administration participated. They expressed their good wishes to the residents, tasted sumolok, and received blessings from the people.
Visitors to the celebration had the opportunity to explore a variety of national cuisine, crafts, and art exhibitions presented in Batken and its surroundings. Artists from the A. Zhainakov Musical and Drama Theater presented theatrical performances as part of the cultural program.
During the official part of the event, congratulations were expressed by the Secretary of the Security Council Adilet Orozbekov, the presidential representative in Batken region Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, the mayor of Batken Seytek Kulubaev, and the akim of Batken district Danir Imanaliyev, as well as guests from Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
The head of the region, Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, wished everyone present happiness, joy, and a bright future, emphasizing the importance of unity and peace on earth.
