The large-scale celebration of Nowruz took place in the village of Kyzyl-Adyr in the Talas region in 2026. This event was held at a high level and became a symbol of ancient traditions and national values, strengthening the unity of the people.
Among the participants were the plenipotentiary representative of the president in the Talas region, Ermat Dzhumaev, the deputy chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Erlis Akunbekov, as well as deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, Dastan Dzhumabekov and Medina Kairylbekova.
Ermat Dzhumaev, speaking at the celebration, conveyed congratulations from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, to the residents of the region, wishing everyone unity, prosperity, and success.
Erlis Akunbekov emphasized that the government attaches great importance to the development of the Talas region and promised support for major projects, expressing hope for a successful year for the residents.
The ceremonial event began with a traditional greeting. Mothers-umai welcomed the guests, and the program included improvised aitys, the epic "Manas," and famous Nowruz songs. Sumolok and other dishes were also presented for tasting, and blessings and prayers for peace and prosperity for the people were pronounced.
Within the framework of the celebration, exhibitions of crafts and books were held, showcasing national dishes from various peoples, as well as an exhibition of agricultural products that attracted the attention of many guests. Participants could try national delicacies at the ethno-buffet.
The celebration continued with a theatrical performance and an official opening, followed by entertainment programs and a concert. The festivities concluded in an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
Thus, the celebration of Nowruz in the Talas region became a significant event that strengthened the unity of the people and demonstrated the richness of national traditions.
