
The landscaping will affect all districts of the capital, covering both central boulevards and residential areas.
Significant reconstruction of green spaces is planned in Bishkek for 2026. The project is managed by the municipal enterprise Bishkekzelenstroy and the district administrations.
The project encompasses all parts of the city. In the Lenin district, various squares and public spaces will be updated, including Chortekov Street, Young Guard Boulevard, Chapayev Park, as well as the Sukhomlinov Square (Journalists' Alley), near the "Manas" cinema, and next to the Chui Regional Drama and Satire Theater named after Sharsen Termechikov.
In the Pervomaisky district, attention will be given to key public areas such as Dubovy Park and Erkindik Boulevard, where work has already begun. The "Fish" fountain, "Elephants" square, and Togolok Moldu square will also be renovated. Plans include the creation of new squares, particularly on Profsoyuznaya Street and near School No. 54.
The Sverdlovsk district will see the reconstruction of the parks "40 Years of Kyrgyzstan," "Red Builder," and "Leather Factory." Additionally, new green spaces will be created in the Ak-Bata residential area, "Energy Workers' Town," at the intersection of Chui Avenue and BChK, as well as on the site of the former "Dan" market. Furthermore, new squares will appear in the Alamedin-1 microdistrict, in the village of Vostochnaya, and between the residential areas of "Dordoi" and "Enesai."
The Oktyabrsky district will focus on the construction of new public spaces. Squares will be created in microdistricts No. 12, No. 8, No. 10, No. 6, No. 7, No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5, as well as in the residential areas of "Kok Zhar" and "Kyrman." Additionally, a park is planned at the intersection of Ankara and Auezov streets, along with landscaping in the Tunguch microdistrict.
According to the city hall, the reconstruction will include the updating of green plantings, the creation of pedestrian zones, the installation of lighting, and small architectural forms. The main goal is to provide comfortable and modern conditions for the recreation of residents in every district of the capital.
