He emphasized that earlier, Sadyr Japarov had voiced an initiative to support medical workers and raise their salaries.
“The head of state highly values the work of doctors, and therefore has given instructions to provide medical personnel with priority conditions for obtaining mortgages through the State Mortgage Company to improve their living conditions. For example, young specialists who have just graduated from medical universities currently earn 13,581 soms, and starting in April, their salary will be 35,248 soms,” noted Alagozov.
He clarified that this is an example demonstrating the growth of the minimum salary in the sector. Salaries for doctors with more experience will be even higher.
“Additional payments, such as seniority bonuses, will remain. Also, for doctors working in remote and high-altitude areas, salaries will increase by an average of 30%. Under the 'Doctor's Deposit' program, the state makes payments of 66,000 soms every three months. Young doctors specializing in in-demand fields (pediatrics, neonatology, anesthesiology, resuscitation, general surgery) will receive an additional 20,000 soms per month. Furthermore, the salary of nurses working in the country will increase from 8,541 to 29,053 soms, which is almost a threefold increase (not including additional payments and bonuses for work in remote and high-altitude areas),” added the president's press secretary.
He also reported that there is a need for doctors of various specialties in the country's medical institutions (a total of 1,596 vacancies) and called on graduates of medical educational institutions, as well as those who have left their jobs but wish to return to medicine, to contact the nearest hospital.
“There you can get all the necessary information about vacancies and employment opportunities. We ask you to share this information with acquaintances who have a medical education and are looking for work,” Alagozov appealed.
