At Issyk-Kul, police officers have switched to an enhanced service mode.
The regional internal affairs department reported that a large-scale inspection of the forces and means of law enforcement agencies took place as part of the preparations for the holidays.
The personnel inspection was held in the central square of the city of Karakol, where the leadership checked the readiness of the units for service in places with large crowds, as well as their equipment and technical capabilities. During the inspection, the active operational plans aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens were evaluated.
Major General of Police Murat Boronov, head of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, addressed his subordinates with clear instructions. He emphasized the need to enhance patrolling during the holiday days, to maintain order at a high level, to respond quickly to offenses, and to prevent possible emergencies in places with large gatherings of people.
To maintain public order and tranquility in the region, more than 800 police officers have been transferred to an enhanced mode of operation. Special attention will be paid to religious institutions and mosques during the holidays, as well as parks, squares, and locations where cultural events are planned.
