At this stage, specialists have already arrived on site to conduct the necessary measurements in order to prepare the project and estimate documentation. The city administration has also received instructions to develop the park project and begin construction within the established timeframe. It is expected that the new park will not only beautify the city but also create comfortable conditions for recreation and active leisure for children and residents.
The city of Kemin, which turned 11 years old this year, is located 95 kilometers from the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. The urban-type settlement of Kemin was founded in 1954, and in 2012 it was granted city status. Currently, the population is over 10,000 people, and the city budget is approximately 40 million soms.
On September 28, Mayor Kairat Abdyvaliev reported that a series of events took place in honor of the city's birthday, including a football tournament featuring teams from across the Kemin district and competitions in arkan tartysh. During these events, winners were awarded cups, medals, and diplomas. A concert program was also organized, and a disco for the youth concluded with a light show and fireworks.
Since the beginning of 2023, many projects have been implemented in Kemin. In particular, the kindergarten "Kemin-Kasiet" reopened after major repairs, which was returned to municipal ownership in 2014 and has a capacity of 180 places. The third school also updated its windows and laid paving stones in the yard, where the last major renovation took place in 1977.
To enhance safety in the city's kindergartens, each institution was provided with two sets of fire shields. In response to the proposal from deputy Sayinidin Kasymaliev, the Association of Markets of Kyrgyzstan awarded local entrepreneurs to support them in the trade sector, which employs 552 people.
As part of the city's greening initiative, trees, including poplars, were planted. The local budget allocated 10 million 500 thousand soms for asphalt laying on Tukeiev Street (a length of 1 km 700 m) and about 6 million soms for lighting on Jibek Jolu Street (a length of 2 km).
As part of the "Safe City" initiative, expenses of 5 million 500 thousand soms are also planned for the installation of video surveillance in schools and kindergartens.
