At today's parliamentary meeting, held on March 19, the speaker Marlen Mamataliyev announced a new initiative regarding foreign business trips for deputies. Previously, the selection of candidates for trips was carried out exclusively by him, but recently this function is being transferred to the deputy groups.

The speaker noted: "We discussed this issue with the leaders of the deputy groups and are beginning to implement new rules. Now the selection of candidates will be made within the deputy groups, which we believe will increase the transparency and objectivity of the process. Previously, I traveled with 5-6 people, but now, if the business trip is related to issues of economics, law, ecology, and others, the appropriate candidates will be determined specifically within the groups."
