The Minister of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of Kyrgyzstan, Azamat Jamangulov, stated on the air of "Birinchi Radio" that approximately 195 state services have been digitized in the country.
According to him, work on expanding mobile digital services is ongoing.
“We have reached a critical mass of in-demand state services that citizens actively use. To date, 195 state services have been transferred to digital format, of which about 70 percent are fully automated—from submitting an application to receiving a response from the state body. The remaining services are semi-automated: citizens submit applications, but they still need to visit the state body to obtain the result,” he noted.
Jamangulov also emphasized that the task ahead is to develop proactive state services.
“Proactive services mean that a citizen does not have to contact the state body on their own. For example, if a newborn appears in the family, the maternity hospital reports this, and the relevant institution prepares the birth certificate and organizes everything necessary—from vaccinations to school placement depending on the registration. Thus, by the time they reach adulthood, people will not have to gather documents for school or kindergarten, as state bodies will independently send the necessary certificates to the relevant institutions. We will move in this direction,” the minister added.
